Description

This oval soapstone bowl is hand carved and sanded before being painted and engraved. Finally it is waxed and polished. It is made is Kisii, Western Kenya by Art Safi Self Help Group. It is a unique product with no two designs ever exactly the same.

Colour: Sunset shades with various animal designs etched.
Care instructions: It is for decorative use only. Use a damp cloth if it needs to be cleaned, do not wash. Use beeswax or clear polish to re-shine and protect the colour of the painting.
